Our PPL ground school course covers the CASA PPL(A) exam syllabus.

Our exclusive program allows us to run short courses giving you all the information you need to not only pass your exam but to also be a well rounded and safe pilot. At TEAM we don’t just teach you what you need to know to pass the exam we teach you based on real world experience to ensure you become the best pilot possible.

Our courses have been designed for small groups each course has a maximum of 6 participants so we can ensure each participant get’s that personalised experience.

Passing your CASA exam is not just about knowing the content it is also about having the correct exam technique. At TEAM we can assist you in not only preparing for the content but also exam techniques.

The PPL ground school runs for 5 days at our flight trialing facility in Brisbane depending on the group numbers. During the course you will learn everything you need to pass your CASA exam including:

  • Basic Aircraft Systems

  • Aerodynamics

  • Flight Rules and Air Law

  • Human Factors

  • Operational Meteorology

  • Performance

  • Navigation

Did you know that most candidates have trouble with the following items when attempting their exam.

  • Correct use of the take-off and landing charts

  • Determine time/distance and revision of estimates

  • Calculate Density Height and/or Pressure Height

  • Correct use of the various loading systems (ALPHA,BRAVO and CHARLIE)

  • Interpretation of meteorological forecasts
